this is the new studio, its empty in this picture and doesnt look much but its beautiful! on the bank of kampot river looking out to bokor mountain. going to slam the shit out of this spot. above my buddy chiets bar, if your in kampot go to madis.

also last few days did the cliche tourist thing and helped build a house for some kids in a village near where i am, was actually really nice, any one need a straw banana leaf house after the world collapses hit me up!

this is the start of the wall that me and shida were working on before the popo turned up, big hand, hopefully itll get finished.

so heres a few photos from a roll of film i just got developed. I'm setting up studio in cambodia at the moment with my favorite bro-mance shida whos visiting for xmas before taking off on his 'world domination tour', so lots of mural painting untill then! but before landing in asia made some time to do some hitch-hiking in australia, from melbourne up through the middle. theres a couple of photos of the photographer i went with, but i dont have any of the actuall mission yet...hopefully ill get some, painted some murals in alice springs and caused some ruckus in darwin. The middle of australia was wierd. red. untill i get the photos not much to say, but it was pretty amazing. getting into alice springs and speaking with old indigenous australians who had english as their 6th language made me feel quite optimistic. it was really lovely to see that the invasion and colonization of australia, although gross and extreme hasnt taken that away.
news the last couple of days, half way through a huge mural with shida in kampot, we found out we were given false permission and the cops stopped us, but we've written a letter to the chieften to get permission... so if all goes well i'll have some photos of that up soon aswell, massive wall, like 4mX10m. other than that, just getting dirty in cambodia.
tools of trade over here, check the coconut paint bucket, pretty kitsch but it worked.

this painting is in alice springs, text reads 'Australians painting walls since 38,000 bc', the colours in this photo are all blown out and it looks gamon, but i was actually pretty happy with it.

this is smelliot the 'photographer' under a bridge in alice springs on the dried up bed of the thompson river, love the graffitt on the pile ons.

Cooking With 40#s

this weeks 'cooking with 40's', we have a 40-ounce-bounce homemade soft shell tortilla.

you need;

handfull of flour,

two handfull of cornflour

pinch of baking powder,

one egg,

an ODB sized mouthfull of 40.

mix together and then form balls, then use a previously prepared 40 bottle to roll each ball out thin. You can use a Colt 45 or Olde english, it doesnt matter. even a cobra will do it. I like them pretty thin,.

make what ever you want to put on them, refriedblackbeans, guacamole, mexican stuff.

fry up the tortilla/taco shells for about 20 seconds each time... you want the fry pan to be hot, hot-real-hot-like uma thurman hot. if its not hot enough you wont see bubbles rise in the dough.

ofcourse, serve hot with your favourite 40.

just had a fewmungas week in melbourne...was planning on making some art but ended up more bombing in the suburbs, no need to thank me if i sprewced up your family van over the weekend. also went to some really nice galleries, drank some really free beer and got to hang with some slick gansters/gamon ninjas i havnt seen in ayyges. oh and i did a tattoo on my budy will, hes in the ganster cator gore y.

the same night the grunt work collective are having a show on rigorstr, friedrichshein. two blocks down from fishladen bar, in the squat on the left i think, (google earth the strasse i ges?) which looks really good, bands are playing aswell.

so shaping up to be a huge next week and half... this show is going to be dope, i've been working really hard at it. its joshua levi's show the same night, he's got a bunch of photo's, it's the first time he's let any one see this much of his work in a long time, ive been working with josh the last few months, many people believe he is a mythical creature that steals orphans, but actually hes just a really good photographer, great gallerist and one of the nicest guys ive met in squillion.

bands should be good aswell, whyte lighting is playing, i give that guy hand jobs in abandoned buildings.

then at the end of the mission these two gansters drove me back up north, theyre on tour now, if your in sydney or brisbane look out for cougar flashy, they bring the ruckus.

i met up with the guys at blender studios in melbourne, did this painting with drew, (www.drewfunk.com) great guy.. and hung out and drew.

this was such a fun place to paint, i had such a good time. check the cell doors on the right of the painting, that place smelt like cop rape.
